Curious about visiting a location of this chain...

Is there a preferred location--one better than the others?

I see there are four locations... In L.A., Glendale, Culver City and Cerritos...

  1. I like the K-town one best, haven't been to Glendale or Cerritos but Culver City was terrible.

I've seen the Glendale location and it's in the food court at the Glendale Galleria. IOW, no ambiance.

    2. I've only been to the k-town location so can't speak to which one to go to. If you've never been though make sure to order the whole chicken - half soy garlic, half sweet hot. It's the way to go. I've had friends tell me they couldn't understand what the all the fuss was about. Then they told me they ordered chicken wings and chicken strips. Get the whole chicken, half and half and at least two of the pickled radish banchan (which used to be free and now cost $1).

Also, the k-town location is very brightly lit, a parking madhouse and generally not equal in ambiance to the food. If you're close by consider take out.

aren't the cerritos/culver city locations all in malls? and hence diminished kitchen?

the Ktown one has zilch parking, but $2 gets you a valeted spot. basically, all the "locations" suck but...

Went to Koreatown recently and it was gross. Chicken was still good, but everything was dirty. I also miss the table service. I can't recommend it anymore. All the tables were dirty and nobody cleaned them the whole time we were there.

I love Kyochon and hope they can get it together.

yes the one in culver city is in the Westfield mall. I went there when the mall had just opened and it was pretty good. but the quality has seemed to decline when I go there now. they do give out samples sometimes on weekends.
