BBQ in Savannah

Hey, I'm visiting Savannah from up north and am desperate for some amazing BBQ. Any suggestions? I won't have a car so have to stick in town. Thanks!

gb, Blowin' Smoke at 514 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd (912-231-2385) is probably the best downtown. Pretty damned decent. http://www.blowinsmokebbq.com/

One place downtown I haven;t tried is Angel's at 21 W. Oglethorpe Lane (912-495-0902). See http://www.angels-bbq.com/ I do need to try that place someday.

Thank you very much! I've been here for the film festival and yesterday went to Miss Wilkes and Pink House -- two of the most enjoyable meals of my life. Am now so stuffed but will try to get to Blowin' Smoke before I leave. Thanks again!
