cocktails & dinner before show at the paramount theatre (on a monday night)

  • 2

got david sedaris tix for monday night... would love to park near the theatre.. then walk for drinks & dinner nearby. I realize larimer square is just a short jaunt down 16th via the shuttle... but I think we're looking for something more casual (and less spendy) than most of the options down there... any ideas?

good cocktails are definitely a plus... be open to just apps and drinks... or a whole meal.

or am I just being dumb and we should just go have small plates at osteria marco...?

  1. I'd suggest happy hour at Row 14 (2 - 6 pm) on 14th between Champa and Stout. http://www.row14denver.com/menus/happ...
Great cocktails & wines by the glass, and $5-$10 eats that will fill you up without breaking the bank. Ask about off-menu specials too (I had a delicious hamachi collar at the bar one night). You'll recognize former staffers from TAG and Rioja there so it will feel just like Larimer Square. :-

I was thinking the same thing: Row 14. They have a great beer selection, nice specialty cocktails and a great chef making great food. Bayou Bob's is also kind of a cool, divey joint that specializes in cajun food and drinks, and it's right next door to the Paramount.
