Lunch in the seaport district
My company moved to a new office building near the end of the Greenway (Atlantic & Congress) and I'm looking for good, lesser-known lunch spots with an emphasis on options in the $8-$14 range to try. Anywhere within half-a-mile or so is fair game! I already know about the South Station kiosks, Chinatown, the greenway trucks, and Sportello. Any suggestions out there?
Thanks!

Channel Cafe up on Summer St. - burgers, salads, coffee, small but decent beer selection. And there's an art gallery.

Yankee lobster is good but a little far I think for lunch. Flour bakery is close to you and very good. It will get crowded.

J. Hook, at the corner of Atlantic and Northern Ave., if you are in the mood for a lobster roll.
Pasta Beach, at Rowe's Wharf, decent food, often disorganized service.

Hook's lobster bisque is awesome. The lobster roll is not made to order. There is no inside seating. sam's I think is more expensive then what the op wants to spend.

Sam's at Louis Boston next to the ICA is terrific and has outstanding views of Boston Harbor.

Agree with you about the views, but in three tries at lunch I have not had an item I would go back for. Also, there is Strega located in the office building nest to Sam's; food is much better.

The range noted was actually $8 -$14; a few items from their lunch menu that fall into that range would be Chicken Parm with Pasta, Veal and Wild Mushroom Meatballs with Pasta and Caesar Salad with Chicken. Each of which is around $13.
