Crossed the street to the plaza where Hurry Curry is and as I'm walking to see what all is there...come across this little space - and I do mean little! Crepes 2 Go, says the sign...I look at the menu sign which is organized by sweet / savory. The sweet varieties are named after classic actresses - Marilyn Monroe, Garbo, etc.., the Savory crepes - after actors - Gregory Peck, Sinatra, etc. Really interesting space... almost like a street vendor type feel. BUT there are warnings posted around the menu board - "Make Sure you know what you want before you order", "Don't ask questions that can be answered from the board", "after you order, wait outside or come back"! It's a hoot. Undeterred...I order the Mariyln Monroe - 3 different fruits and whipped cream...owner says "what fruit?", I say "I get a choice?", owner slams his order pad down tells me to come back in when I figure out what I want. I mean...it so rude it's funny! So...I figure out what fruits...order it and also a savory with salmon, cream cheese and grilled onions... It's all delicious if you can deal with the cranky owner. It's worth a try and also a laugh! Well, YES in an over the top type of way-I didn't take it personally! Was the food bad? No way...the crepes were good...I've had a lot worse and with less varieties. I'm no crepe connoisseur, but the food was enjoyable, and the owner's demeanor definitely gave us something to talk about, laugh at and in general made us wonder why people get so worked up over little things!
