Looking for nice place for girls night out in the west end

Hi,
I'm heading out for a well deserved girls night with my BFF on Saturday night and need some recommendations for a spot in the west end. Looking for bistro type fare, good cocktail/wine list and fun atmosphere. Preferably on the subway line as I'd prefer to ttc it there and cab it home but not a deal breaker.

    Earth Bloor West at the Jane subway is the closet thing to a downtown/cocktail vibe you're going to find that far west.

      Have to agree. I think this is the only place that far west that fits the bill.

      Earl's is fun and near subway with good drink menu and food, although not bistro style. Nota Bene is another idea.

          Neither really fit the request of the OP. Both are downtown and not so girls night out vibe to say the least.

            I responded to the original post, which said west end on subway line. As the location wasn't quite specific, I assumed she meant west part of the subway line. Not sure why you're saying they're not places for a girls night out, I've had girls nights out at both those places and they were perfect. Now that the location has been specified, I would obviously withdraw the recommendations based on location. wow.

              Earls is a chain that doesn't have a good wine or cocktail list worth the price and the food is at best so-so. Nota Bene is more fine dining not bistro. Well it has a good wine and cocktail list it is not at all what one would call fun IMO and has a much more corporate vibe.

            Sorry! Should have clarified! High Park or The Junction would be as far east as I'd probably like to go, unless there's somewhere really great and then I'm open!

            hmm ? kinda tough if south west. but i'd recommend something like Moxie's at Yorkdale ?
