I think Acadia would be a great choice for you; The food is lovely and the service is very good. I can't recommend a dish as they change them all the time, but the apps are great. Get the cornbread! My wife and I had a great time there.

Your 11th anniversary is your Steel anniversary, so I'd recommend Monday dim sum at Casa Imperial on Steeles. Or maybe dinner in Hamilton will fit with the steel theme.

Or head to Scaramouche- but you could do that on any anniversary. Not really that special or memorable for celebrating your Steel Anniversary!

iMarilyn & jlunar- would you really want to celebrate an 11th anniversary at a restaurant so fascinated with organ meats? ;-)

By the way, ipac, where did you end up going for your 10th anniversary last year? The recommendations made to you last year (when you asked about the Most romantic high end restaurant in Toronto ) are still very good recommendations for an anniversary dinner.

Good to hear you liked Scaramouche. I'd probably choose Splendido over Jacob & Co...but I don't tend to eat a lot of beef. If you or your spouse really like to order steak, go with Jacob & Co, but if you're likely to order something that's not steak, I'd give Splendido a try. If you like Italian food, you might also want to consider Mistura.

Would you recommend mistura or enoteca sociale?

I like the food at both restaurants, but I'd recommend Mistura over Enoteca for an anniversary.

Mistura is a bigger, fancier restaurant, with more formal service. The plating is also quite beautiful at Mistura. Enoteca is a newer, smaller, more casual, energetic restaurant, with some "scene". The food at Mistura is at a similar standard to the food at Scaramouche, and at a similar pricepoint. Most of the dishes at Enoteca are roughly half the price of the dishes at Mistura.

I've liked everything I've ordered at Enoteca, but some Chowhounds have been disappointed or underwhelmed with what they've ordered at Enoteca.

Mistura has street parking, as well as Valet Parking, available. Parking near Enoteca can be difficult to find, so I would consider taking the TTC when dining at Enoteca.

That would be perfect for an 11th anniversary! Nice suggestion, iMarilyn.

There's also Apollo 11 on Bathurst.

Or II Sogno, II Posto, II Mulino, Il Bun Ji, etc.

or 7-Eleven! I don't think the "II" in the ones you mention above signify the number 11, it is actualy "IL "
