Mildred's Temple Kitchen Dinner?

I attended a wedding recently at Mildred's Temple Kitchen. The room looked fabulous and the food was great but it was a cocktail party so I didn't get to sample the regular fare. I'd like to try it for dinner but as it's a long way from home for me I'd like to know whether it's worth the trip. Anyone been recently?

  1. i live only 2 miles away and my better half works in liberty village and we avoid mtk....not worth the trip imho

    1. Essentially agree. Food was beautifully presented, nice service, but small portions, exorbitant prices, and the dishes tasted average. Once was enough.

      1. Overall meh at best IMO. Have been three times. Third time total shame on me!

        1. This place is definitely worth the trip! I there recently with My boyfriend and his two teenage sons, who are rather limited in their tastes. They each had the burger which they declared was "awesome" . For a first course they shared the "king chorizo nachos" with guacamole and tomato. The presentation was great - looked like Sydny opera house. I had the special - scallops with French lentils. The scallops were perfectly cooked and the dish beautifully seasoned. My friend had the rack of Ontario lamb and loved it. Service was great too!

          1. I was there for brunch about a week ago with my wife and we both really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. I had the grilled cheese sandwich and it was very good. The bread was sliced nice and think and toasted perfectly, I would have preferred a little more cheese to get the extra gooeyness. My wife and the huevos. Also very good. The eggs were cooked as ordered, the guacamole was well prepared, however, there was too much sour cream for my liking. I would like to try it for dinner, and based on my brunch experience I think it will be a place I will return to fairly soon.
