Maine Brewers Festival - Portland, ME

My significant other and I are considering going to the Maine Brewers Festival this coming weekend here in Portland. We're new to the area and have not been able to talk to anyone who has been in previous years to get an opinion. Can any 'hounds here give me a clue of its its worth it for the price, etc.
Recently moving from Seattle, we've been to the Washington Brewers Festival many times and have enjoyed trying new beers from breweries we're familiar with, as well as getting to know some of the breweries we are not so familiar with. Can we expect the same experience here?
The price of the Maine Brewers Festival is higher than other festivals, but it looks like it includes a higher volume of tastes.
We're within walking distance of the festival here, so that is a huge plus.
Thanks in advance for the help.
I am going Saturday afternooon and I couldn't be more excited. Many of the brewers are at the top of their game so the price was a non issue for me. You'll be experiencing some of the best brews being made not only in Maine, but in my opinion, the world.
It will be moderatley crowded I assume but the more the merrier. They have musical entertainment and pizza available from Portland Pie Co.
Oh, welcome to town. My wife and I landed here a month ago after living in Boston for 9 years. We're loving it so far.
I haven't been in about 7-8 years, but even back then it was really crowded with really long lines to get 4 ozs of beer - I can't imagine much has changed in that respect. Back then the saving grace was there was never a line at Allagash (and they didn't collect the tickets) - that will not be the case anymore.
