Looking for either sushi instruction or sushi catering in-home that dazzles.

I have seen some older threads but they seem quite dated.

Has anyone had a recent great experience in either category?

Thanks,

Jordan

You can check with Taro's Fish. I know they do on-site catering, not sure about them teaching. You can also check with Akasaka, they do in-resto sushi making classes and on-site catering.

One of my co-workers used to have dinner parties catered by Sushi Kaji. They come over and prep and serve in your kitchen. For the price you're paying, I imagine they won't have a problem teaching you a little bit.

P.S. Anyone ever tell you not to make it so obvious with your real name on teh interwebz?
P.P.S. I think we went to summer camp together...

Kaji sounds like a bit more than what we were looking for but thanks for the idea.

P.S. - Who am I hiding from on Chowhound?
        P.P.S. - Who are you?
