GOOD MORNING MY WONDERFUL FRIENDS !!!

WE ARE GOING TO BE IN BRUXELLES THIS AFTER NOON AND WE WANT TO FIND, CENTRALLY LOCATED A WONDERFUL VERY FRESH FISH RESTAURANT.

WE WILL BE THERE UNTIL TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND WOULD LOVE SOME GOOD IDEAS. I COME FROM NEW YORK AND CALIFORNIA, HE COMES FROM ITALY SO WE APPRECIATE REALLY HIGH QUALITY FOOD, WITH A SLOW FOOD MENTALITY AND SUPER FRESH.

I AM A BIG FAN OF BABBO IN NEW YORK, ZUNI CAFE IN SAN FRANCISCO, BLACK BIRD IN CHICAGO AND THERE ARE MANY WONDERFUL PLACES IN BRUXELLES I KNOW BUT WE HAVEN'T BEEN THERE BEFORE.

I WOULD LIKE THE PLACE TO BE REALLY FOCUSED ON THE FOOD LESS IMPORTANT IF THE PLACE IS SHIEK. BUT THAT WOULD BE NICE TO SIT IN A BEAUTIFUL MODERN PLACE TOO :-)

IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER IDEAS OF THINGS TO DO PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

I LOVE CHOW HOUND AND I HAVE ALWAYS GOTTEN EXCELLENT REVIEWS FROM HERE SO PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU HAVE ;-)

HAVE A WONDERFUL SUNDAY !!!!

NORDZEE - It's an outdoor walk-up fish market and restaurant. It is always packed and the food is great. Bundle-up, get a glass of wine and order what sounds good to you.

      Thank you so much !
I know this place. I it's all around Vienna but it's more "fast fish"

We are looking for a 4 or 5 star, comfortable, fresh fish place with
      a nice ambiance.

I found a place called Francois and it is famous for it's charm, elegance and fish.

If anyone from Bruxelles or someone in the know about slow food and fish has any ideas, please let me know ! thank you !

I know you are looking for a 4 or 5 star at this point but I wanted to correct the assumption of Nordzee (Mer Du Nord), it is not related to the NORDSEE change of fast fish stalls.

If you're looking for a fun lunch, enjoy.

Probably a bit late – but for anybody else looking for reliable up-market fish restaurants in Brussels, try either the Sea Grill or l'Ecailler du Palais Royale. Neither will be cheap but you will eat well.
