You might consider Green Papaya Cafe. Americanized Vietnamese on Oak Lawn. It's far from my personal favorite but very popular.

I would also recommend the Green Papaya. It is one of my personal favorites. For Tex Mex, Mia's.

Mario Sabino's - Salvadorean and Tex Mex. Good selection of frozen margaritas.
5404 Lemmon Ave, Dallas, TX 75209

I'd recommend Manny's Uptown over Mia's for dinner.

      Oishii for Chinese (and sushi).

        +1 for Manny's Uptown Tex-Mex. Better than Mia's.

For Tex Mex in Oak Lawn it has to be Uncle Julio's on Lemmon Ave at Douglas. The food and service are great, and they are good at accomodating groups.

Forget it. There isn't any decent Chinese food in the Oak Lawn area. Nada! None! The closest I can think of that I would go to is Royal China in Preston Royal. And they're not very close to Oak Lawn. Sorry.
