La Tortilleria is my go to for these. If you wrap them tight they also freeze well if you want to keep some on hand.

Are the tortillas at La Tortilleria made from 100% corn or Maseca? I remember them being the best in town last I tried them.

Honestly, I have no idea. I just know they are the best I've found in Toronto. Made fresh every day and ridiculously cheap. They have 3 varieties, including one organic option (I think).

They're as good as it gets in TO. While freshly made, the tortillas can be flat(no pun tended)tasting due to ingredients. Doubt they lime and grind their own corn for masa the way small tortilla factories do in the SW US.

I cannot remember the brand but i think there was only one kind available...it is sold at several high end shops but i got them at The Healthy Butcher at Avenue and Eglinton. The brand was suggested by the guy who used to make corn tortillas at St. Lawrence Farmer's Market. They are also available at Rowe Farms and possibly even places like Pusaterri's. Unfortunately i forget the brand. Fortunately, i know i got them at Healthy Butcher and there was only one brand. Basically, just go there.
