Pumpkin Fudge

I had my first taste of pumpkin fudge last year when we took a fall foilage road trip around Door County WI and the Michigan UP. It was sooo good and I'm craving it now. Anyone have a tried and true recipe? Thanks.

  1. Try this one. More like pumpkin pie fudge than just pumpkin fudge, but we quibble.

    3 cups sugar
    3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
    2/3 cup evaporated milk
    1 cup canned pumpkin
    2 Tbsp honey
    2 1/2 tsp nutmeg
    9 oz white chocolate, chopped
    9 oz marshmallow creme or fluff
    1 tsp vanilla extract

    Mix together the first 6 ingredients and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Then add in the chocolate and fluff and vanilla and stir until fully incorporated. Pour onto a baking sheet and let cool. Cut and serve.
