Mittapheap changing hands?

Just had dinner at Mittapheap (a little green papaya salad to clear the sinuses) , and overheard the waitress telling a regular that "a corporation" bought the restaurant and was taking over next month - on the up side, reportedly this change comes with a liquor license. Downside? She said "corporation". Anyone hear anything about this?

  1. I take it you generally prefer restaurants operated by sole proprietorships, LLCs, partnerships and non-profit organizations?

Hmmmm. Doesn't really matter although I always thought of this place as family run. I guess I didn't relay the ominous tone with which she said "corporation". Is there a Cambodian equivalent of Panda Express? What came to mind was the opening scene from the Simpsons done by Banksy.

Yes. It's called Floating Elephant Rock n Walk.

        ;)
