Depends what you like. There's a Pappadeaux in Terminal E near gate 3. If you just want a burger there's Ruby's Diner which is also close to Terminal E.

In my opinion, Pappadeaux is the best. The rest are mostly fast food. Also depends on your terminal. If you are in B, sorry. You have donuts and Chili's Too. Here's a list. Select Intercontinental:

I'll third Pappadeaux. We go for a fun dinner before any evening international flights. Always a good time with good food. Esp. for an airport!

We took our young 'uns there once a long time ago before a 9 hour flight, and they wanted the fried gator. I remember hoping it agreed with them looking at that long flight. Luckily it did!

This is a new (2 week old) resto at Terminal E in IAH airport. The service was awkward but friendly. It looks like they are slowly getting the hang of things. The food was a delightful, innovative and healthy style of new cuisine. Great spicy tomato soup, excellent beet salad, and fresh baked-while-you-wait chocolate fondant cake. Oh yes and some interesting micro-brew. A really find in airport-land!

Go to Le Comptoir!!! I go there often, especially on Friday afternoons when I'd rather unwind with wine rather than sit in traffic.
