    I thought it sounded a little crazy when they were talking about it on the radio a few minutes ago, but it could be cool. At $35/can I won't be using it though. Well it wouldn't be for me anyway. I Googled images for "Deli Garage", the German company that makes it. They have interestinf labels and product designs and some nifty looking gadgets like these http://adsoftheworld.com/media/dm/tdg...

      They sell a similar product at Michael's in the cake section. It is with the "Duff" products.

        I'm mostly laughing at the gilded bird on what looks to be a paper plate.

        If you can have a recipe calling for an entire bottle of red food coloring (red velvet cake) -- a gold chicken can't be any worse...and the cookies look kind of cool -- I could see a pretty nifty decorating theme with those.

        I can also see using this to paint plates and other serving pieces...they look great, and wash off when the meal is done (and THAT would be a great boon for caterers!

        )

        (the article alludes to a serious issue with the shipping -- aerosol is considered a hazardous material for air transport...so they'll have to fix the logistics issues before they will ever be able to expand much.)

            How is this different than people (myself included) using food color and a food-safe airbrush to color things (in my case cakes and cookies and sugar flowers)?

                to indulge to that extent I think I'd have to cultivate a serious drug habit. but looks amusing.
