winnipeg mb clotted cream?
I was in a pinch once for some nice thick cream to put on scones and in desperation bought a can of Carnation "thick cream". It was actually *surprisingly* good. Tasted much thicker than the nominal 25% fat content, quite yellowish and while not 1/2 as good as a decent English clotted cream would make do in a pinch. And it's cheap too.
