I dont know, maybe it's the way he approaches the camera angle out of nowhere, maybe it's his size, his rapid, too-calm-and-calculating style of voice, or if it's his ice-cold eyes, but this guy kind of gives me the creeps. He comes off as a genuinely nice, exuberant guy is a really good cook and I love his recipes so I dont mean to be mean, but was just wondering if anyone else felt the same way when looking at his videos?

There are folks out there today in the food world who would (rightfully) cringe at their demo tape now that professional hair/makeup people quaf their look. YouTube has been a hotbed for discovering talents and you just never know what will come from TRYING. More props to those who do.

His eyes are so light-colored that they reflect the light, which is unsettling enough, but then he noses up to the camera and he never blinks!

Why all the hate for a guy trying a cooking demo on the internet? Maybe he will read your criticism and become so discouraged he will take his videos down. Will you have succeeded then? Sheesh.

How is this simple reaction/criticism "hate"? Does this word even mean anything like it used to? The guy intended to have an effect and some of us think he's just failed. We all fail at something. If he's savvy, maybe he'll think about making some changes, is all.
