Peller Estates Winery Restaurant or Hillebrand Winery Restaurant?

I'll be taking a girlfriend and her husband and 2.5-year-old daughter to a winery and Niagara Falls tour from Toronto this Saturday. They come to visit us from London, England. My girlfriend is interested in the set menu of either Peller Estates Winery Restaurant or Hillebrand Winery Restaurant. Would you know which venue would be better? I visited Hillebrand before, but never Peller Estates.

Would it be a good plan if we have a short stay at Hillebrand, Stratus, have lunch at Pellers Estate, go to Niagara Falls for the afternoon, have dinner in Toronto?

Thank you all! I'll take a closer look at their menu then. Also, Peller Estates opens at 10am on Saturday, while Hillebrand opens at 11am. We'll see when we'll arrive.

I've been to both many times, I typically find the food at Peller better & finer, while the setting is a little more charming at Hillebrand. On the weekend I believe they only have the brunch menu at noon at Peller, which wasn't up to usual standard last time I was there. Another nice option is Vineland Estates, they have a beautiful view and great food as well.

Ravine has a great restaurant as well, although the winery itself is not as impressive.

BTW, if you have the time, and the little one can handle being out and about for that long, I would suggest lunch at Ravine winery and dinner at Hillebrand or Peller.

that would be my agenda as well. I have done that a few times exactly, actually. And exactly, I like the service/atmosphere at Hillebrand better- its elegant but not as stuffy as Peller.

This is hard.. i have been to both (actually consecutive nights) and I personally liked hillebrand a little bit more. But honestly, I would choose based on their menus if I were you because they are very similar experiences.

Agreed. I also find the space at Hillebrand a little warmer feeling than Peller. Peller feels more formal to me. But both are great, so you really can't go wrong.
