Hot Sauces
I want to send my nephew in Florida a variety of hot sauces for his BD. Is there a store in SFV or Ventura County that will have some variety to choose from? Are there stores that sell only hot sauces?

The only one that I know of is outside of your area, in the 3rd and Fairfax Original Farmer's Market, sorry.

I think Red Hot Foods only sells their own stuff. Light My Fire is probably the broadest selection you're going to find.
There used to be a place in Ventura called Smith & Smith, which was similar to Light My Fire, but I'm pretty sure it closed. There also is a place in Long Beach called Hot Licks, but that is even farther from you.
Your best bet might be to order online from a place like More Betta, More Hotta: http://www.mohotta.com It stocks the Mo Hotta sauces, but also has a wide variety of other ones. They also have some sampler packages.

Thanks. All great suggestions. I like going to the farmers markets in Ventura County. The store in Farmers Market in LA is fine as well. I grew up there and have not been back in a while and there is much to do and eat in the city for me.
