Without knowing specifically what we will be having does anyone have any suggestions for wines that generally pair well with Russian cuisine? My wife and I both prefer red wines in general. Thanks.
It's really difficult not know specifically what you'll be having, as you've mentioned. A safe bet would be to bring a Champagne or other sparkling wine.
