re: westsidegal
I had the fried oysters at La Cachette Bistro last week and they are unbelievably good. So good that we had a second order of it. La Cachette Bistro has a promotion of 30% off your entire meal Friday and Saturday nights after 9:00 p.m. I could definitely see coming in after 9:00 p.m. and just ordering plate after plate of fried oysters. It was that good.
P.S. They also offer $1 corkage on Sunday nights.

Musso & Frank offers "Oysters stewed or fried" for $18, and I rather think they have scotch ;-) I'd assume Pacific Dining Car would have a similar offering. As for someplace a tad cheaper, I don't know, but now you've given me a craving I didn't have five minutes ago. Thanks EVER so much …
On further search, PDC does not have oysters on their menu. They'd be too expensive anyway, right?
