True Maryland owners, great food, the best views of the Sunsets on the Gulf, casual, great crab cakes (I have family in Maryland -2nd best I've ever had, other than in Maryland/or homemade).
We enjoy the place, try it you'll like it. The staff is excellent, polite, no "attitudes" here.

I am guessing that the OP is talking about the Brass Monkey in Pass-a-Grille. It is the only Maryland-style, sunset view restaurant that I can think of here.

FWIW, our experience there has been good food with painfully slow service.

Maybe we should try guessing where it's NOT LOL!. Not Crabby Bill's, not the Hurricane, not anything on Gulf blvd, as no view, not Woody's....I'm thinking debbed must be right, but I've never been to the Brass Monkey. Only other possibilities would be hotel restaurants, and most of those don't have water view. How about the place that revolves? Now that's gotta have the best view!

Sorry...I meant Maryland-style crab cakes, as mentioned in the OP. And the original poster has confirmed that the Brass Monkey is the restaurant in question.
