looking for prepared food/ take out options for family meal in Providence

Hi Chowhounds! I have my whole family (6 adults, 3 yr old and a 1.5 year old) coming for a visit the week before Thanksgiving and we'd like to have a pre-Thanksgiving family meal at my apartment. No one wants to cook, so I'm looking for prepared foods, take out, or inexpensive catering options. I'm thinking $20 per adult not including appetizers or wine.

It does not need to be traditional Thanksgiving food. Anything tasty will do and it would be great to show off the local specialties. Considerations include one vegetarian, one pescatarian, one is a meat and potatoes guy and the rest of us are omnivores.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Thanks - great ideas! I'll let you know which we try and how it is. Chowhounds are the best.

Not sure how adventurous the kids are, but Rasoi might be a good option. Another option - though not necessarily reflecting a "local specialty" - might be The Pizza Gourmet on Hope. They have a full catering menu with much more than just pizza, and are very accommodating re: dietary restrictions.

McCurdy's Junction House could be a good option. They have tasty comfort food, and vegetarian and vegan options. They also do catering. They will switch to the fall menu any day now, but in the mean time here's a link to their current menu:

If you're interested in Italian red sauce, I have heard good things about Shores and Lancelloti's in North Providence as catering/take out options.
