Help with "Vernors"

I'll be visiting SF in a couple weeks ( 11/10-17 - the 11th is a milestone birthday), all of my resturants are planned out, but one thing that seems to be missing is my being able to enjoy some Vernors.

I've heard rumours of a place on Valencia called "Golden Eagle Market" that carries it. Can anyone confirm or deny or be able to point me in the right direction.

I figured the food aficandos on here could help me out and I greatly appreciate it.

I buy Vernor's in SF at the Marina Safeway on Marina Blvd across from Fort Mason and at Mollie Stone on California St at Fillmore St. It isn't hard to find now that Schweppes owns them. Each grocery store gets a fairly small allotment, so you could call before you go (although they don't seem to sell out and I haven't had a problem.) It often is hiding on the bottom shelf. The usual price is just under $5/six pack.

Wow, my apologies for the extremely late follow up. Darned holidays and sicknesses.

Anyway, again my thanks to everyone for their assistance. For future reference, if anyone else is looking for regular and/or diet Vernors and are in the Castro region ( as I stay) I'm very happy to announce that its regularly available from the fine folks at Mollie Stone's on 18th Street.

It made me very happy to get my favourite soda from my favourite store!

Vernor's seems to be everywhere out here. I have seen it recently at Grocery Outlet and Andronico's.

Thanks everybody. When I was in town in July I didn't see it around. Guess I didn't look close enough.

I need to go to BevMo to grab some MooseDrool and will snag the Vernors then.

Are you going to be in Berkeley at all? Sam's Market on Telegraph has a ton of niche sodas in the fridge and I think I've seen it there.

It's available at unexpected places.
I buy it at United Markets in Marin.
Also at Lucky in Larkspur, though they keep it in the back!
I guess it has a cult following.

I have a can in the refrigerator but can't remember where I got it , probably Andronico's. As I noted on a previous thread it has never tasted as good as it did at the end of the factory tour.

Yelp has a bunch of Vernors spottings, including at Saigon Sandwich, of all places.

I've seen yelp sightings at a place called Golden Eagle Market which is close to Blue Fig. In case I have no time to get to Blue Fig, I'm hoping for plans b, c and d.

Try Bevmo. There's on on Van Ness and I know I've seen it there (albeit a few years ago.) I'm sure if you call in advance, they can get it in stock if they don't have it now.

Are you talking about the Ginger Ale? It should be in any midsized grocery store.

What is a midsized grocery store? I don't see it in SF on any kind of regular basis, and it would catch my eye as it's all I drink when I visit my parents' house in Michigan.

It's at Andronico's in Los Altos, so perhaps it's at their San Francisco and Berkeley stores as well.

I live in San jose and i can get it in my neighborhood liquor store, and the nearest Lucky's. Did not know it was such a hit or miss item.

Cost Plus World Market carries it too.
