Pre-game "tailgate" meal in Westwood
Looking for a casual pre-game meeting place meal/grazing before a soccer game at Drake Stadium at UCLA. Should be able to accommodate a group of 15-20.

Junior's Deli has a private room that could hold that many.

Thanks! Good eats there and Apple Pan across the street for those not thinking deli. Any thoughts on a place within walking distance of the campus so we don't park twice?

Unless you get your orders to go, there is absolutely no way Apple Pan can accommodate a group of 15-20. It's typically a battle royale for a party of three to get adjacent stools there.

Not with in walking distance but I like Pitfire Pizza on Westwood Blvd near Santa Monica Blvd.

Or right in Westwood Village is the very casual Lamonica's New York Pizza, you can get whole pies or just slices and then you can have Stan's Donuts right after (I love their fresh peanut butter and banana donut).

The Glendon, BJ's, The Stand, Barney's Beanery would probably all work.
More out of Westwood proper, but better food IMO at Sunnin and Shamshiri Grill.
BSW6490 may have meant Jerry's Deli which is actually in Westwood, but the food is just passable.

I beg you....Please stay away from Jerry's. Terrible and way over priced. If you want deli Junior's is much much better.

completely agree with TracyS that Shamshiri offers better food. before gas prices went over $4/gallon, it was on my regular rotation (and when i get a hybrid car, it probably will be back on my regular rotation).
that said, though, i don't think of it as a "grazing" kind of place, more like a "let's sit down and eat a meal together" kind of place. also, quite often "tailgating" parties are centered around the drink as much or more than the food, and shamshiri grill, even though they do serve wine, is not the first place i'd pick for having a drink. . . .

Great sandwiches at Fundamental LA on Westwood Blvd. two blocks south of Wishire Blvd, blink and you'll miss it, a very tiny location. Call first and maybe you could take over the entire restaurant. One of the best in the area. Menu changes daily.

Affordable, and 1 short block from UCLA campus, is my favorite pizza in Westwood Village: Enzo's (1 brief phone call to confirm your group of 15-20, it's kind of small but they have enough room):
