Basement Burger Bar (DTW)
I had a Groupon burning a hole in my pocket. Mrs. Rain was in the mood for a burger.
As the name suggests, it is a basement, burger bar. Also a sports bar - NOT my fav.
Matter of fact, Mr Rainsux is sports illiterate. Never been to a Tigers/Lions/Wings/Pistons
event. Really. Seriously. No kidding.
So we chose the upstairs, streetside tables. Prompt and knowledgeable service.
MANY burger options. After waiting a reasonable amount of time, our waitress
appeared and apologized that my medium-or-less burger was "beyond well done."
She offered to re-do both burgers and comp an appetizer, or round of drinks.
The burgers were late, but precisely as ordered. Dunno if I'll ever again order
A Kobe beef burger ... But I will return, once the warm weather returns and I
I do not have to endure "sports on TV."
BTW ... It is located in downtown Farmington. A great place before or after a
visit to the (budget) movie palace.
Burger was on par with Red Coat .... but with MANY more options.
