Recommedations?

Hi:
Going to a Training in Dedham in 3 weeks.
I live in Atlanta where Ethnic food other than Asian and Indian is weak.
I love good Italian and Greek food and Gourmet Vegetarian fare.
Criteria:
Not very interested in Red Meat. Don't drink alcohol. Not impressed by fancy ambiance....and will not have the clothes to dress up. Do not mind spend ending plenty for great food.
I will have a Rental Car but will not have a lot of time for driving. Will have the opportunity for a quick meal on a Friday night and a more leisurely dinner Saturday and Sunday.
What advice would you have?
Thanks!

Gourmet veg? Order the vegetarian tasting menu at Oleana in Cambridge - if you are dining solo, you can eat at the bar, I believe. There's definitely nothing like this in Atlanta.

For a quick dinner on Friday night, consider Kouzina in the Waban section of Newton (about 10-15 drive from Dedham). Also Farm Grille on Needham St. in Newton, also relatively close. Both Greek.

For Italian closer to Dedham, consider Delphino in Roslindale.

Posto is ok, but if you are going to drive all the way to Somerville, you'd be better served by going to Gran Gusto, in my opinion. Also check out Vinny's at Night.

I second Delphino's in Rozzie.....I live in Roslindale and Dedham is literally a hop, skip and a jump away, and it's a great spot for italian food. In fact, there are several places in Roslindale sqaure worth trying, like The Rialto (I think there pizza is outsanding), and though I haven't tried it yet (oh how I wish I chose this place over La Verdad this weekend), I have heard good things about Redd's in Rozzie as well (southern inspired American fare). Village fish for sushi and korean food (bib im bop.....sooo good), and Sophia's Grotto has some good dishes too (the spanish antipasto is really quite nice). Come on down to Rozzie!

Oh, and if you wanted to stay in Dedham, Jasper White's Summer Shack just opened up at Legacy Place.....haven't been to that location yet, but have been to other Summer Shacks, and while a little pricey (as all seafood tends to be), I haven't ever had a bad meal there....it's not red meat!
