Delete boards doesn't work either

I got tired of Saved Boards always being expanded.

I tried to delete them to see if that helped at all. The delete function doesn't work and I don't see anywhere you can add them should someone want to do that

    I just deleted one of my saved boards without any problem. Under the list of saved boards, I clicked on EDIT and then followed the instructions to delete one. The board I deleted no longer shows up among my saved boards.

    To restore it, I went to the topic listing for the board, and clicked on SAVE THIS BOARD next to the board's name. It now appears among my saved boards.

    So, as far as I can tell, deleting and saving boards are operating properly, for me. (I'm using IE8). I'm not sure why it's not working for you.

    I'm still having the problem with saved boards always being expanded, though.

      Crap

      I was able to delete saved boards finally but all that does is default to the "CHOOSE A BOARD" tab which is even worse expanded. Then after clicking a number of times to save a board, it finally took after five minutes ... BUT ... now it is stuck on the Choose a board tab ... exapnded.

      Please fix this or acknowledge the problem.

        Just to clarify and summarize - It sounds like what you're referring to is the same problem we've been having for a couple of weeks, i.e. that the two list of boards at the top of the page - all boards, and saved boards - stay expanded, as reported at www.chow.com/topics/813291 If you don't have any saved boards, then the list of all boards is still there. But you still have the ability to delete saved boards (even all of them, if you want) and add them.

        Since this problem was reported in that other topic - it was reported four days ago, but has been going on for at least a week before that - I'm sure the Chowhound Team is aware of it. I've posted in that other topic to see if we could get some kind of status update.
