Any suggestions for decent selections of Bourbons, Rye etc. from the U.S. here in Edmonton? Chateau Louis comes to mind but other than that I'm not sure where to look. Thanks.

You can use this to search if store has brand you are looking for in Alberta.

Thanks, this is a good resource for most of my needs! Too bad you can't find prices as well but once you know who has what you want it's easy enough to call or drop by.

I'd still be interested in hearing who generally has a great selection as there all always new and wonderful expressions making their way to us to be discovered.

Also, I'm in Calgary a couple of times a year so any suggestions there would be appreciated!

Kensington Wine Market in Calgary has a nice selection, including Pappy Van Winkles 20yo.

Chateau Louis definitely has the best selection in Edmonton. I recommend Pappy Van Winkle 20yo. The 23yo is marginally better, but definitely not worth twice the price.

#2 would maybe be Fine Wines by Liquor Select on 149st. More of a Scotch store, and slightly higher prices, but you will probably find a bourbon or two here the local liquor store doesn't carry. I don't know other parts of town, but I wouldn't be surprised if something in the Southwest (Terwillegar etc) has a similar selection to FWbLS.
