Where to buy kecap (ketjap) manis in Edmonton?
I've been looking to buy this Indonesian sweet soy sauce for a while now. I've tried the biggest Asian grocers, T&T (west end) and Lucky 97, but can't seem to find it (or maybe I missed it on the shelf?). I've found some recipes like on this website:

but I have no idea how authentic it would turn out.
If anyone has any idea where I could purchase some, or if they have any feedback about making it myself, that would be great. Thanks!

It should be in the Asian grocery stores. In T&T, I would check the South-East Asian aisle, not over by the other sauces.

re: anonymoose
Thanks for the tip, but was just at T&T (West Ed) and didn't see it. They have a section of soy sauces (and fish sauce) away from the regular soy sauces, including one that said "sweet soy sauce", but i have no idea if that is the same thing as kecap manis... I guess I'll keep looking!
