Rehearsal Dinner for 50 People in the General Seaport Area.

My cousin is hosting a rehearsal dinner next June for her son's wedding. Ceremony/Reception are at the Seaport. She's looking for a place to host the rehearsal dinner the night before. Some wishes: private room with a bar and a not breaking the bank menu! Maybe family style restaurant? THANKS!

OP, OP, where are you and what is this venue of which you speak?

Seaport isn't a term used around Seattle - are you referring to the Port? I'm not aware of event facilities in that area specifically. Or maybe Bell Harbor? Are you referring to something else altogether?

If she is interested in the downtown area of Seattle, Blueacre Seafood has space for 50 easily, as would a number of hotels with good restaurants. I'm not familiar with family style restaurants that would fill the bill - perhaps something like Buca di Beppo? A big chain known for hosting parties.

Ooh, that's handsome (Foss). I wouldn't mind going to an event at the one at South Lake Union either, though it feels more like a clubhouse with a great location.
I need to put both of these into my vocabulary.
