Rusty Taco

Great Tacos. Need I say more. I will. I like the #1 (Ive had them all) if you want flour instead of a corn tortilla you have to ask. Also a friendly staff, look for DJ.

I went for the first time Saturday and was happy with what I got for $2.50.

I took the advice of my chowhound friends in ordering and that undoubtedly helped. Ordered the brisket.

I was on my own for dinner the other night and will be bringing SO in to try it next time we're looking for an inexpensive night out.

I like that they have breakfast burritos.

Loved it the first two times and the third time was absolutely terrible.

Agree with MSPD and Fudist - doesn't hold a candle to any of the better taquerias in town, but it fits the area. Tasty hot sauce though, and cheap tap beer.

I grew up with DJ on the Westside of St Paul. I Have been there three times and have to agree they have nothing on Pineda or Los Ocampos but do fill a nice void in the area. The Habanero Salsa is addictive, tasty and scorchingly hot.

                  Glad you liked them.

I've tried a couple times and didn't think anything was special. Certainly wouldn't drive past any of the usual Mexican taqueria suspects around town for them. But it fills a niche in that area.
