Banh mi around the Biltmore?
We have a function on the resort tonight and one of our guest Chef is craving banh mi. Anyone know where we can grab some nearby?

Head west on Camelback approximately four miles to Pho Thahn. That's the nearest & probably best option.

Neither is right around the Biltmore, but Pho Thanh and Rice Paper might be your best bets in that general vicinity. Sekong by Night, which is a Cambodian place, is a bit closer than the Vietnamese places, but has only a couple of sandwich options.
EDIT:
^Yeah. What he said. Ongoing software updates/installs seem to be causing all kinds of lags at my end.

Thanks for the quick feedback CH'ers! Rice Paper was alittle of a sticker shock coming in at $9.50 including sweet potato fries. Just called Pho Thanh and ordered 25 sandwiches at $3.50 each.

My sense is that at Rice Paper, you're paying a premium for the ambience that a place like Pho Thanh (or Da Vang or Maxim) lacks.

I figured as much when I saw gin fizz and cucumber lavender gin and tonic on the menu ;-)

Da Vang and Pho Thanh definitely lack ambiance but they make some damn good Vietnamese at a great price.
