  1. A word of caution: The other sites have litte tolerance for Tom, his self promoting, ( albeit defunct), edited site, or his following. Try:
It is doubtful you will find Aboy or any of the "followers" under their old monikers lest they suffer the wrath of the board(s).

Most from tom's old site are on Mr. Lake. aboy still posts a number of time daily and most have stayed under their old monikers. Everyone seems to be much nicer and there are even Thursday lunch get-to-gethers.

Yea, Mr. Lakes folks are friendlier. I was actually referring to the more cliquish nola forum. I should have made the distinction.

Thank y'all!!! I was really looking to contact aboy, because we went and ate at Kid Creole a couple of weeks ago and that was the bestest (yes I know I said bestest) roast beef po-boy I have ever had.
          Thanks again.
          Peace Out!

Rest assured that you can find Aboy at Mr. Lake's forum. He will be happy to hear from you regarding the poboy.

    2. I, too, miss the camaradie the of that board. I find this board to be primarily for information and that
is a good thing since many of the participants are out-of-towners.

a/k/a Double M on the TF board

Mama Mia! It's been a long time! Part of our old gang were asking about you! Did you know that Anne passed? And yes, some of the posters are on the Mr. Lake board.

      2. what happened to the fitzmorris forum?

I heard he has become too busy to Keep it up. It probably wouldnt't have been so time consuming if he didn't find it necessary to constantly monitor, edit and delete posts.

the guy has issues. i once got into an email debate w/ him about whether good paella should have a crispy bottom (called "socarrat" in spain; i say yes), it went back & forth for days and was not pretty.
