Casual restaurant with easy access from Logan Airport

My four year old son and I are picking up my husband at Logan tomorrow night at 6. We would like to eat some place casual that is easy to get to from the airport with little aggrevation. You know how it is after you get off the plane. You just want to get in and eat somewhere. We were thinking about Legal, but I'm looking for some inspiration for other ideas.

The Seaport is also really easy from Logan. If you want seafood, but no Legal, there's always Yankee Lobster

Is the Seaport where all the new restaurants are like Legal, Temezcal, Remy's, etc.?

It's free street parking in Eastie, generally...just watch your signage for any variations...not too hard to hunt and peck for a spot.
Seaport is correct.

Rincon Limon is in Day Square I think and there should be on street metered parking. They make a great roast chicken too.

There are meters in Day Square, but pretty sure they are off at 6pm

Look up Angela's Cafe, both on this board and on the internet. It's a few blocks from the airport. Very good Mexican food. A chow hound favorite.

If all else fails, there's a 99 Restaurant next to exit 29 on 93. Nothing special, but easy to get to, little aggravation, very casual.

The problem with any of the good and casual Restaurants close to Logan, isn't "how near of far", it's the traffic you will have to deal with. So factor that into your need to get there and back.

Santarpios is great for pizza, lamb and sausage bbq. Ricon Limon is a great little Peruvian Restaurant with good food and great prices.

Both places are very casual.

Rincon Limeno has a wide variety to choose from, e.g. cerviche, Jalea(fried seafood), beef, the best fried rice, etc. at incredibly reasonable prices w/a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Are you in a car or are you traveling by public transport? Do you definitely want seafood? Would you be interested in Central American/Mexican/Peruvian? If so, East Boston has some options....but there are lots of places in Boston that are easy to get to from the airport.

We are coming via 93 in a car. We are open to other foods besides seafood. We're open to anything. We could try East Boston. We have never ventured over there.
