Looking for somewhere quick but chow-worthy off I-95, mid-Maine to Massachusetts. A great lobster roll would be especially fine. Thanks in advance.

Not sure of their seasonal hours but how about Bob's Clam Hut in Kittery. Their other resto, Robert's Maine Grill will sure to be open, a little more upscale/$$.

Portsmouth, NH is a nice little town to stretch your legs and wander around if you have time. I like Portsmouth Brewery for burgers, etc.

Maybe not quick if there's a line - Duckfat in Portland ME. (I don't think they have lobster rolls though). Absolutely the best fries or get the poutine.

No lobster rolls. Sometimes I'll do a "slab" of pizza at Micucci's and the walk across the street to Duckfat to wash it down with some fries. You also pass the new( er) Otto enroute to Duckfat if that pizza appeals to you more. Either way, Duckfat is about 2 minutes off of I295. Easy on/off.

Thanks for the tips! I was too early for lunch in Portland; I wound up eating in Lowell, MA, at a place called La Boniche. Well worth the 5-minute detour off Rte. 495. Fab grilled pork with roasted potatoes and squash for a mere $12.
