Never tried it but I've seen they carry it in the frozen section at Marché des saveurs. It's made by the greek nuns living in the Laurentians (forgot the name)...

I've tried from Arahova West Island & VSL....something I would wish I never ordered.
      Pheadra - passable.
      Ellada...whatever....

Tripoli, Parc Ex...its not on the Menu. It depends which day you go and if its the Special of the day....Usually its written on top of the Salmon.
What I don't get is that all places offer moussaka but not Pasticio. IMO its way easier to make Pasticio than Moussaka.

If you do find a place, they charge 15 + and they give a small piece...unacceptable.

I miss Hermes....btw the pic shown is from Hermes.

The one I had at Tripoli (Laval) was a daily special. It was about 16$ but it was a generous portion. It's really not worth eating it out, just find a recipe you like and enjoy at your leisure! :)

It's not something I order really because I make an excellent one at home and have had some great ones made by Greek family members. Tripoli had a pretty good one a few years ago. Which ones have you tried?

You won't find it in too many places, I've tried it at Mythos and it was mediocre. I can't say I've seen it on many menus. Like hungryann, I make a make a real good one at home. It's the type of dish that is best served within an hour of coming out of the oven.
