Lunch under $50/head AND quiet for conversation near 46th & BWay?

Am I asking too much?

Thanks in advance,

Harry

I find that Joe Allen, on 46th between 7th and 8th, is a nice place for a leisurely and quiet lunch.

Trust me, go to The Palm on 50th. Excellent lunch menu and classic NY.

St Andrew's - 46th b/w 6th and 7th. Scottish themed pub. Nothing fancy, but solid food. Lunch time is quiet enough to have a business lunch. Great scotch list if you can imbibe at lunch.

Is that $50pp for food only? It's easier to make recommendations when drinks, tax and tip are *not* included in the stated budget.

I highly recommend that you go a bit further north and west to La Silhouette, on 53rd, b/t 8th & 9th. Delicious food, excellent service, and very pleasant, quiet atmospherics.
