smoked turkey?

Since moving away from the South, I regret never ordering a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving. I know it's going to be a quite a bit more difficult finding one here in Phoenix, but does anyone have any experience with ordering one here?

Not local, but we have done several smoked turkeys from Bates' Turkey Farm: http://batesturkey.com/

    All have been excellent.

    Good luck,

Although I don't live in your area, I also have trouble finding smoked whole turkeys here in VA. Last Easter we ordered a half smoked turkey online from "Burger's Smokehouse", & it was excellent. Flavorful, juicy, & not too salty like some brands can be. While their prices may seem high at first, they include shipping, which makes a difference.,

Or you can buy a smoker for $50 and make many delicious smoked meats in the coming year. We are planning to smoke a whole turkey this Thanksgiving for the first time. Can't wait!

Schreiner's Sausage will smoke your turkey for you, but it's up to you to bring them the bird. I don't know if AJ's sells smoked turkeys, but it might be worth giving them a call to find out.
