I went about 1 month ago. We shared the mixed kebab platter. It was very good, especially the rice was EXCELLENT! I enjoyed the ash-e-reshteh soup also but not close to my favorite ash from the old Saffron.
We payed about $50 bucks for two people tax and tip included but no drinks for: 2 soups, 3 large brochettes, some roasted tomatoes, a plate of rice and tea. I find Iranian food while delicious is usually overpriced (except for Maison du Kebab). The place is a step up from a cafeteria hall. I don't understand the pricing. I mean I could go to Nostos or Village Grec (which offer a nicer environment) and have pretty much the same type of food (and probably more) for less $. Does basmati rice really cost that much more?›1 Reply
