From fridge to pantry. Is it unsafe?

I used a large can of baked beans as a weight to remove moisture from a cake of tofu stored in the fridge. Can I safely return the can of beans to my pantry for later use, or have I made it perishable now? TIA.

    The beans are fine.

But you're gonna get gas from the tofu now....

LOL...although I did feel a little bloated after eating my agedashi tofu...seriously.

as long as you didn't open it, and there are no bulges or serious dents, it's fine.
