Dinner for 2 Girlfriends- fun but really good food (near Strip)
We are staying on the strip but like good food and don't want an overpriced celeb-chef stamped restaurant- unless it IS actually good and not bland. We'd like to go to the Wynn/Encore but are open. Thoughts?
Thank you

Will you have a car?
If you are in town on a Saturday, try out the Bar+Bistro in the Arts Factory. Chef Beni does some good meals, and you can catch the Painters, and Poets Jam out on the patio. Open mic, and artists doing their thing every Saturday from 7-11pm.
The Great Wall on Charleston has some good Chinese fare that is not oily like some places. I had the Happy Family , which is a combo plate of all their meats.
Casa Don Juan on Main, Lotus of Siam on Sahara, Namaste-next door to LoS, run up Spring Mountain for Oriental fare, it all depends on how specific you want to get. I tend to frequent dives like the 4 Kegs for great monster strombolis, and pizzas which are half price after Midnight.
