Glutten/Wheat free Vegan for Dinner Around North End - Oct 2011

Good4U Oct 17, 2011 09:32 AM

I'm hosting a Vegan friend for dinner and looking for a restaurant that's in the vicinity of North End, Waterfront, Fanueil Hall, Beacon Hill where we can count on a big fresh vegan friendly salad and some source of vegan friendly protein. A comfortable/inviting casual dining venue that's not cost prohibitive would be ideal! Elephant Walk is an option, but they don't have a location that fits and it may be too eclectic for my "subject". I guess a big fresh salad with a plate of beans over quinoa or brown rice might be too much to ask...? I'm open to suggestions as I'd like to make a good first impression ;-)

I might be late for a reply, but Nebo in the North End has a full gluten-free menu.

If you can venture further, Veggie Galaxy in Central Square knows their stuff about what is GF on their menu. And a littler farther out so do Tru Bistro in Somerville and Red Lentil and Watertown.
