Wedding gift tasting menu - recommendations?

Hey Boston hounds,

A very close friend of mine recently got married and I wanted to give them a gift that they wouldn't otherwise get for themselves. I'd like to get them a gift certificate to a nice restaurant in the Boston area that does a reasonably priced tasting menu (<200 for two).

The two spots I found that seem like they'd fit the bill are Menton and TW Food. What do you guys think of these places? Any other suggestions?

I'm also open to non-tasting menu options if it's highly recommended.

Thanks in advance!

There's no way you're getting out of Menton under $200 for two people when you include drinks & tip. I think the prix fixe is around $100/pp and the tasting menu is closer to $150/pp. Add drinks and tip and you're talking more like $300-$400.

I like TW Food a lot, but it's a little out of the way if you don't have a car.
