Wow. After reading this place for so many years, I feel kind of amazed -even intimidated- to post.

But here's my question:

Are there any good Islamic/Halal Chinese spots in the San Fernando Valley? I've heard mythical things about Tai Lung Shun, but haven't been there yet (hoping to make the drive there as soon as I have some free time!)... are there any similar places in the area?

Sorry if the question is kind of vague and THANKS for all your help :)

Not that I'm aware of. There are hardly any decent Chinese restaurants at all in the Valley, and to find a good Chinese specialty restaurant would be highly unlikely. I think that China Islamic in Rosemead, Jamillah Garden in Tustin and Tung Lai Shun are your options.
