Seeking Vietnamese Coffee Press and Vietnamese Coffee in Vancouver
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for Vietnamese coffee press (the ones that sit on top of a cup) and authentic vietnamese coffee in Vancouver. Does anyone have a specific store where to buy to it? Please help!
Thanks! :)

I picked up a couple of the presses at the Viet grocery store that is across the parking lot from Tung Hing Bakery on Kingsway quite recently. They are behind, above and to the left of the cash register. I didn't check if they had the coffee but the brand I like is Trung Nguyen which comes in a reddish brown 500 g box with a picture of an old fashioned coffee grinder and a cup of coffe in a white tea cup on the front. Hope this helps a bit.

Hi Greyelf!!
Best tip! Thanks. Found the exact trung nguyen coffee you had mentioned at Dong Thanh Supermarket on kingsway. They also sell the filters. Coffee for 500g is $6.59 and coffee filters are $4.99. There's another store, My Tho Supermarket next door, 1116 Kingsway that also carries the filters @ $4.99. Packaging at My tho looks nicer; but they have a limited selection. Surprised that my 4 block walk only yielded two stores that sells it.
Chowhound readers, do you have a cheaper place in Vancouver, Burnaby or Richmond that you found to have cheaper coffee filters? Would like to buy more.
Thanks!!

re: shopaholic
Nice work! I forget what I paid for the extra filters I bought earlier this year but I think it was around $5. The last time I bought the coffee it was $4.89 but that store is gone now, so that's no help. $6.59 still seems pretty cheap to me for a pound of coffee that tasty :-).
