What kind of picky eater? ie plain foods? nothing exotic? nothing spicy?

Scarpetta brunch as pointed out is gorgeous, albeit pricey.

If it's not raining, maybe the patio at Porta Via.

My husband and I had lunch at Bar Bouchon last weekend. Food was excellent, not too expensive, gorgeous setting and great people-watching. Today we had brunch at Tavern and it was great.

Scarpetta in Beverly Hills has one of the best buffet brunches in Los Angeles but on the expensive side at $68 per person. It includes Cold Water Oysters‐ King Crab Legs‐ Shrimp Cocktail - Stone Crab Claws and their 100 layer lasagna.

Also the Brunch at the Getty Center is very nice with wonderful canyon views.
