Iso restaurant for Thanksgiving "HELP"
Our family is unable to cook Thanksgiving dinner for various reasons. Does anyone know a restaurant that does a good Thanksgiving dinner? Price is not issue. Live in the valley, but will definitely drive over the hill, Pasadena, etc. Thank you so much for your help!
Google "OpenTable Thanksgiving Los Angeles" and their 2011 list will come up. Lots of choices.

The Main Course on Pico, across from the Rancho Park golf course. They are a cafeteria type place that has gone decades specializing in turkeys and the usual sides. Big carryout business.

Better hotel dining rooms often do exactly this for Thanksgiving especially those that are long established in their community or have destination dining in their own right. You may consider looking near you a hotel respected by the local community. You can even find out if a good package deal can be arranged to have the family occupy a few rooms at either a nearby hotel or in a favorite Southern California location.

Thanks everyone for the ideas! Since we are unable to do dishes easily either (ailing parents), any ideas on anywhere more upscale? Of course, I'll look at Open Table (great idea) but my parents are Patina/Campanile/Illiterati people... Is this an impossible dream..?!

I have friends who went to Craft in Century City for Thanksgiving - they adored it.

My family and I are going to Scarpetta Beverly Hills this Thanksgiving and are looking forward to it . Campanile is open this Thanksgiving and so is Melisse. Last year we did Fig in Santa Monica and it was wonderful. A few years ago we did Saddle Peak Lodge and had a great holiday dinner.

Last year we went to Akasha in Culver City and were very disappointed (we'd eaten there multiple times before Thanksgiving, but haven't been back since). For Christmas dinner we went to Fig at the Fairmont in Santa Monica and it was wonderful. I would definitely consider Fig.

Fig's Thanksgiving menu is now posted and they are doing the wonderful leftover inspired menu that I enjoyed so much last year. Loved that Turkey Schnitzel.(they have a traditional turkey dinner also) Take a look, it was great.

How about the Patina Group restaurant of your choice?
I always see advertisements for Pinot Provance in OC, so I going to assume that most of the Pinot options are going to do a Thanksgiving menu. You have a Pinot right there on Ventura, call them to see what they are doing for the holiday.
A step down from there, though I do enjoy it, is Cafe Bizou. I have had Thanksgiving dinner there at least twice, though the last time was a while ago. The Pasadena location has a more upscale feel to it from the Valley location, though they both have the same menu.

The Langham Huntington (formerly Ritz-Carlton) in Pasadena is a good upscale choice. Check website or call for T-day menu and reservations.

if you want to pick up and eat a meal back at your place, auntie em's kitchen does take out orders for the holidays. i've had it a couple of times. it's pretty good. check their website in a few weeks i'm guessing. the food is packaged up so all you have to do is make them look presentable on plates.

The Charthouse in Malibu was fantastic for our family of 7 last year. Great food, reasonable prices and wonderful atmosphere.

The pick up option for campanile is pretty good also if you're going to Pasadena to pick up dinner, you can go a little further south to san marino to Julienne's they make a pretty good thanksgiving dinner.
